FD 282 Double-Head Edge Tabber - Overview

The machine applies tabs on opposite sides of the mailpiece simultaneously or on top and side simultaneously. It removes the necessity of feeding the pieces multiple times and boosts productivity.

To save time, the FD 282 has introduced a unique work pattern. In this, the FD 282 combines tabbing heads. The fixed head applies tables in the open edges, while the repositionable head can switch from side tabbing to front (leading-edge) tabbing. The fixed head can affix flat tabs, small labels, or up to 3 USPS roll stamps in one pass.

The FD 282 also takes a unique approach to work capacity. It can process up to 25,000 pieces per hour (single tab), 15,000/hour (double tab), or 10,000/hour (triple tab). With updated knowledge, its sizes are up to 11″ x 15″ and 1/4″ thick.
