The Formax FD 8500HS high-security office shredders are dedicated to high-volume shredding. They come with a special 6″ feed opening and an easy-to-use LED panel. This panel allows one to control the height of the machine. The touchscreen also offers an oil indicator for nonstop operations.

The shredder has a high capacity output of 5 sheets at a time with a shred size of 1/32″ x 3/16″ in a cross-cutting style combined with a manual function. The function helps to shred the most miniature paper that doesn’t get detected by the sensors. Its high-end build has helped meet the NSA/CSS specification requirements 02-01 for Level 6 high-security cross-cut shredders.

The office shredder is automated. It has an optical sensor that detects paper and starts the task. It also has features like a sensor that stops shredding automatically when the waste bag is full and an eco-mode to save energy.
